your money where your a*# is…

by t on September 14, 2009

Cool consumer story from my friend Neil:

So about 6 years ago I bought a couple new Aeron chairs. They were $1k a piece and I was broke for a good month, but my ass has been in one every day since, so I guess that works out.

Anyways, my wife recently sat in one with a box cutter in her pocket and ripped a huge gash through the seat. So, we went to the Herman Miller site and they recommended ChairMD (http://www.chairmd.com/), an approved reupholster.

They sent us a prepaid cardboard box with instructions of how they wanted the chair and we shipped it out for free.
2 weeks later we got it back. Not only did they reupholster the seat, but the back as well. It’s basically a brand new chair.
And get this…. for 0 dollars!

It’s nice to know that some people/companies still stand behind their product. How cool is that?
