syl 12 | good works

by t on October 19, 2006

Another set of organizing advice from Alexandra Bloom. This set is “good works” themed:

  1. Tom and I talk about what kinds of charities we want to give money to. We then research how effective these charities are in how they use their money. We identify 4 that we want to give larger donations to, rather than giving smaller donations to more charities. (See www.charitynavigator.org.)
  2. We decide to give blood on a regularly (once every 3 months), and make a schedule to do so.
  3. We start to look into ways to volunteer time.
