Duracell, Energizer, Rayovac… all non rechargable batteries, right? Wrong. Manufacturers want you to think that these are disposable batteries. When they’re dead – they’re dead, nevermind the fear of using them past their expiration dates. Guess what? You can recharge ‘em.
The Battery xTender allows you to use those old batteries for life! It’ll re-charge alkaline, zinc-carbon, and even rechargeable ni-cad and nimh batteries.
Until now, it was dangerous to re-charge these batteries in your “rechargable battery” charger because the extent (and heat) to which they charged potentially caused the batteries to burst or explode. Not any more. The Battery xTender uses a new technology called digital-pulse with a small chip that controls how it is charging the batteries, making it safe and effective to re-use that bucket of batteries in your utility drawer. This could save you some money over the years.
