keyboard shortcut application

by t on December 13, 2005

Apparently, I have inherited my father’s trait of efficiency-brain. Like others of the virgo world, I hate it when I am not in control of my time or productivity. I hate using my mouse. Every time I switch from using the keyboard to using the mouse, a few seconds of precious productivity time is wasted (a monty python theme comes to mind). My coworkers must think I’m a preacher. “I would estimate my productivity goes up at least 20% when I know the keyboard shortcuts while using a particular program.” Get those keyboard shortcuts down, man.

So check out this new keyboard wiz called keycue. It is for Mac only… another reason for Windows users to convert. This software teaches you the shortcuts while in any application. You press and hold the Apple key, and up-pops a window showing all the shortcuts for the current application. A bargain teaching tool at $14.99.
