game toy for the whole family

by t on July 10, 2005

The artificial intellence 8-ball. Perhaps you’ve seen or heard about “20Q” or “20 questions,” a small orb toy that plays with your logic. The game is brillant – you can pass the ball to any user and be entertained by their “baffling” facial gestures.

Here’s how it works: you think of something (anything), and it asks you 20 questions to which you answer “yes” or “no,” using the two buttons below its LCD screen. You will be astonished by how often it determines exactly what you were thinking about. Read more at Kevin Kelly’s site.

My wife and I played for an hour once, and the only time we beat the game was with the word thong.
