CD to mp3 service

by t on February 9, 2005

So this 21st century – what will they call it? The Information Age? The Digital Age? Either one of those titles fits the recent trend to have everything delivered to your door. Yes, even McDonald’s delivers. Folks will come to your door to pickup your mail, your drycleaning and even deliver the vegetables. All practical time-savers for your time-spends.

One of these other time-spends most people detest is converting those lovely (and huge) CD collections to mp3s. Perhaps you’d rather spend more time listening to your iPod. Wait no more. RipDigital has a service you’ll love. Convert your whole collection for the average price of a $1 per CD. GQ called them “…the greatest thing since paying someone to do your laundry.” They provide insurance, packaging, and deliver your full collection on a data-DVD with a smile. Or if you’re in NYC, you can drop ‘em off.

I look forward to the day when someone takes your leftovers and converts them to your favorite format: a fine cooked meal or extra gas for the car.
