things learned from robert redford

Robert spoke at PromaxBDA today. It was tough to see him age but wonderful to see his humility and passion. A few concepts stuck with me:
- don’t sit still
- as soon as you see the pillow of complacency forming, change it
- use your success to forward something else – don’t rest on it
- focus on the story beneath the story which is where the truth is
He received a lifetime achievement award. He also reminisced about Paul Newman.
